My style of photography is “aesthetic documentarian,” communicating moments that represent fleeting, timeless magic in the human story.
Having been involved with the making of movies, I started as a set photographer, moving into photojournalism and commercial studio photography. I cover events in a photojournalistic style, and shoot studio portraits while considering the editing process a vital part of the final touch. I also teach visual post production in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop.
As a child I was trained as a violinist and pianist, performing in various countries and meeting musicians all over the world. Growing up in music led me to involvement with dance and film. I recorded on several films, television shows and other artist albums, while collaborating on stage with dancers, singers and aerialists. For more about my music work, click here.
I appreciate the joy of participation and collaboration, and try to always brings a touch of fun to my shoots whether outdoors or in the studio. In my spare time, I love doing street photography, and you can frequently find me on a beach or a mountain admiring the ever changing light.
